You don’t urge and then go to sleep. Go out on the streets and get offenders penalised so they’ll learn.

BOTTOM LINE. BLAME THE POLICE AND THE GPRTU STAFF WHO COLLECTS BRIBES FROM MOTORISTS. THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE IGP Should CRACK DOWN ON THEIR STAFF. In the US and Europe, Traffic offenders penalties are in Millions of $dollars and €Euros whilst in Ghana the police and the GPRTU collects bribes and allow motorists to go and KILL INNOCENT PASSENGERS. 2,700 killed in a year and about 4,000 injured. Our problems in Ghana are mostly INDISCIPLINE, Dishonesty and GREED. Most of the VEHICLES on our Roads should not be allowed. They Are Not ROAD WORTHY!!! What powers do our police officers have in this?

If drivers will use their brain when driving, and regularly check their vehicles to make sure they are in good condition, most of the road accidents could be avoided. common sense is needed in driving more than anything.

Enforcement of the road rules is the key to curbing the road fatalities.
The talking will not do anything.

Road fatalities are sometimes caused by negligence.I was once in our local vehicle going to a certain destination and I realized the driver was not wearing his belt. They do these acts very often and then when something happens they blame it on witches and wizards.
Here in europe if you drive without a seat belt, your license could be taken from you.
One day I was going somewhere and was over speeding, suddenly the public camera for cars and other trucks captured my number plate .Later a bill was sent to me and I had to pay.
Since that day I received the bill ,i repented and then told myself,I wouldn't make that mistake again.
You go with your car for it be controlled and checked to see if there is any fault before you go to the street.Obey road road signs and always do the right.Praying is good because you need angelic help.If don't and drive nothing would happen to you.
If you don't wear your seat belt and then add alcohol what do you expect to happen to you.Wrong overtaking another cause of accident.I trusting God that the police would go on the street to check and control drivers who don't wear their seat belt.shalom.

Speeding and drinking might be some factors, but what’s the solutions?
Dual carriageway on major roads and traffic police thoroughly checks on vehicles will half the deaths.
