Now who pays school fees, and bills, etc etc.? You acquire a land build a house, pay the children's school fees house bills and in some instances you take care of her parents and other siblings (not by force). Now in case of divorce, coming from disrespect, emotional torture, using the children against you, etc etc and you're fed up with the marriage. In this case you want me to share the acquired property equally. Equity does not mean 50-50. In all this you want the best for your family and some greedy women will capitalize on this and teach you a lesson.This is how some men go through silently in some homes.

Most women and for that wives are only interested in the husbands property at the end of the day. 90% of Ordinance marriage wives use marriage certificate as a WEAPON instead of sacred devotion to their husbands to behave in many respects. Daddy Lumbas wife Maame Akosua Serwaa is a typical example. The woman abandoned her marriage for close to 2 decades but have now surprisingly resurface with a marriage certificate to claim to be a wife. This is not what we call marriage at all. It is believed that there are about over 350 000 such broken down ordinance marriages throughout the country. Where the two couples are living separately without any contacts whatsoever for years. Most cases the women or wives only resurfaces with marriage certificate to claim properties when the man dies first.This is greedy and disgusting by those disgruntled irresponsible and disrespectful wives. In fact ordinance marriage Law need some reforms or amendments to cure this mischief by the so called legal wives.
