Was he really joking, or making a point based on knowledge of the Ghanaian 'playing style', with particular reference to how Inaki Williams fares in the Black Stars.
Just asking please.

@ Martin, this is not about Ghanaian playing style, it's universal joke directed at someone believing that the sky is the limit.

Just watched the first half of the Carabao semifinal match between Newcastle and City and Semenyo’s performance has been below par. I think he is being played out of his normal left wing position to the right so he returns back passes or try to cross the ball which is not typical of him. So he is very quiet today but we all warned him against signing for City as their style of play will be difficult for him to adapt.

My friend, I do not know what match you were watching as Semenyo scored in the match against Newcastle today and had the highest rating by flashscore.com and was man of the match.

Semenyo is good with both legs( sometimes i ask myself is he a right or left footed player).
On top of that Semenyo has this hunger in him to prove hus doubters wrong because when he was a teenager he was rendered by teams like Chelsea, Spurs,Arsenal and Crystal Palace Surplus to requirement.
But he worked his way to the top by playing for teams like Bath City,Notts County, Newport county and for Sunderland in the League two some years back.
Semenyo is a bonified hustler who came from nothing to something.
What a inspiring story for people struggling currently with their lives or being rejected as not being good or useful.
Semenyo has nothing to loose at all.
This young man can be proud of himself.

Perhaps, it is fortunate for us that the English F.A. did not notice him early enough.

At Manchester City, Semenyo has being deployed (very successfully it seems), as a winger or 'wide midfielder'; but in the Black Stars, he appears to have been deployed as a Striker.

Have the Black Stars getting the best out of Semenyo with the roles that have been assigned to him?
