The Tema Development Company Ghana (TDC) and the Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (GIADEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms to develop an integrated industrial park in Tema, Ghana.
This strategic collaboration aims to stimulate industrial growth, create employment opportunities, and support President John Dramani Mahama's 24-Hour Economy Agenda. The industrial park will focus on manufacturing, downstream aluminium production, logistics, and export services.
Under the agreement, TDC and GIADEC will provide land and regulatory support, while ARISE will provide technical services, design and build infrastructure, and lead construction and operation.

The project is expected to create over 4,000 direct jobs and attract significant investment, contributing to Ghana's economic development and industrial transformation. A section of the park will be dedicated exclusively to downstream aluminium industries, supporting the development of an integrated aluminium sector.
ARISE has successfully partnered with countries such as Togo, Benin, and Rwanda to develop industrial zones, bringing valuable experience to this collaboration.
The successful development of the industrial park will accelerate Ghana's transformative agenda and help reduce unemployment.
The project is expected to commence this year and be commissioned within the next 24 months.
