AG said his visa was revoke asked to leave US in November, this means he has no right to be in US from Dec 25, that means he's illegal hence ICE coming in to detain him. Joy and it's media team has an agenda because the reporter had the chance to ask the immigration lawyer important questions on AGs statement but missed it and worse all Ghanaweb has been twisting everything from day one. It also strengthens the cedi against the dollar, inflation...so you don't need to artificially pump billions of dollars to create artificial strong cedi. Instead use it to subsidise petrol. Cedi will stabilise naturally.

The US immigration authorities should refer to Ofori-Atta's own statements in the past that he will voluntarily return to Ghana to answer the charges against him once his medical tre4atment is done. But this man isn't sick, he's feigning sickness just like Ghana fraudster Abu Trixta who suddenly claims to be sick right after his arrest and possible extradition to the USA. Ofori-Atta only cares about himself. During the Covid shutdown, his NPP government flew him the USA for Covid treatment while many Ghanaians at home were struggling with worse Covid conditions. His lawyers claim Ofori-Atta has applied for a US immigration status adjustment, but what he really needs is an attitude adjustment in the Ghana courts. That national cathedral lying looting crook should return to Ghana to face the charges against him instead of trying to use the US immigration system as a tool to frustrate efforts to have him return to Ghana on an existing warrant on his head. All NDC and NPP looters hiding in the USA and elsewhere must be brought back to Ghana to face the courts for their looting ways. Ken Ofori-Atta is almost out of tricks, and his days for being returned to Ghana are dwindling. He can't claim persecution back in Ghana, for prosecution of corruption is not persecution.
