It also strengthens the cedi against the dollar, inflation...so you don't need to artificially pump billions of dollars to create artificial strong cedi. Instead use it to subsidise petrol. Cedi will stabilise naturally.

Meanwhile school children are still studying under trees abd communities have no health post. Just $100m can provide some very good but basic infrastructure in the rural areas. But we have happily given $1.47billion to some NDC crooks to line their pockets. In 4yrs time they willbe due for another $1.47b paycheck as the dubious Karpower contract continues to accumulate future debt to be paid

There is one simple truth and that is, we need these power providers to meet our growing demand, we only failed to do proper negotiations to get the cost of buying from them lowered (which successive governments should have done), and they couldn’t do that. NPP thought this was too much hard work and its better they alsi look fir avenues to steal instead of pursuig this case which will not put money in their crooked pockets. So they push it aside and went about stealing.

The solution from Ato Forson to win political brownie points is ti take $1.47billion of the taxpayers money and sink it into this xrooked deal and happily announce. I have paid it!

Meanwhile by the end of this week, the dubious contract would have accumulated another $5m debt. In 4yrs time it will have exponentially hit close to $700m-$800m to take the taxpayers money to pay.
