  So picture this: Mahama nods and says, “Well, the security forces are off on a snooze, and our resources are just slipping away.” And there’s that twist of irony: the so-called “Airbus thief” is out there, rolling around with a police escort like some kind of VIP, except this VIP’s in a V8. It’s that odd little truth that sometimes the ones who should be in hot water are the ones getting a comfy ride. It’s a bit of a satirical jab at the whole situation.

  All government issued vehicles must be used for official duties only . Officials in Ghana misuse government properties with some using official vehicles to go to funerals , market and social events that has nothing to do with official duties. Some officials even use their assigned drivers for unofficial duties and weekends without any compensation. An employee assigned to government officials should never engage in unofficial duties like pounding fufu in the home of the official, running private errands and other activities. This is an abuse of power and the government must clamp down on such activities.
