Just because someone verbally sully your reputation doesn’t mean you can go to the nearest police station and have the person arrested. Police make arrests on emergency situations where there are imminent danger to life and property, or the actions of an individual has the potential to cause public harm in the immediate situation. Even in that situation, the law gives the police about 48 hours to secure a court order to justify the continued detention of the accused. As much as I detest these fake prophets and their propaganda, I don’t see any justification for emergent police arrest at this time. It smacks of wanton abuse of power
