Somehow there is an ACL open season on BS players. Over to you Jerome Opoku. We can also bring in Patric Pfeiffer, right-footed.

He needs to talk to Fatawu. He came back pretty quick, otherwise time may not be on his side.

They should get Samba of kotoko to naturalized for Ghana. That guy is even better than Salisu

He is touring Europe and has no time for the local league. Just visited Kudus. Taxpayer's money being wantonly wasted.

I’m so sorry for him but these things happen all the time before World Cup tournaments
It’s the opportunity for up and coming players to step up to take his place.

But his goal scoring ability with the head will have helped the black stars indeed

    I totally agree
Every player has their strengths and he has that ability but remember defense is the main responsibility

Nonsense, you compare BS to these teams? What have they won? They use local players because that's all they got. BS has attempted to bring in local players. They do not measure up.

    Sad for him.
I remember this chap had to be begged to join the national team when he was in his best form. Now he is just an average player so we can only be at pains for being injured because of his career but not a loss to ...

Salisu was one of our best defenders in the WC qualifiers!!
Why is Ghanaweb referring to Alexander Djiku as a backup? He is no backup as he and Salisu are in our starting lineup if there are no injuries.

  • Kweku Tsin 1 day ago

Not only that, Salisu is left footed Djiku is right footed.

  • Yao 2 days ago

I wish Salisu a speedy recovery !!! It is going to hurt us missing you in the WC.

  • Michael 2 days ago

    I wish him soonest recovery.
But this may turn out a blessing in disguise for BS. I think there are better better defenders in the BS than Salisu e.g. Jonas Adjetey

  • Fastook 1 day ago

Adjetey is good but we needed Sailus’s experience and leadership. Hopefully Jerome Opoku will step up . I don’t think we will miss Susu so much though because central defense is not a a problem for us. The unique thing ab ...
