President John Dramani Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama attended the Ringway Gospel Centre Assemblies of God for the crossover night service in Accra on December 31, 2025.
He was joined by First Lady Lordina Mahama and their children, including Sharaf, Farida and Shahid.
During the service, the head pastor anointed the president and his wife and prayed for them, asking the Lord to grant them grace to succeed in government and to thwart any attacks against them.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, attended the New Year Service at the Ramseyer Presbyterian Church at Adum on January 1, 2026.
Arriving in his signature black official vehicle, he was accompanied by his wife, Lady Julia, his children, and an entourage. He was adorned in a white piece of Kente cloth to mark the new year.
In a 59‑second video shared online, the king was warmly received at the church entrance by clergymen, who exchanged greetings before leading him and his family into the main auditorium.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia
Some stalwarts of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were also spotted in church during the 31st December service, showing their appreciation to God for His goodness throughout the year.
Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, former Director‑General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) Sammi Awuku; Nana Akomea, formerly of the STC, and others were present.
These prominent personalities were seen dancing and jubilating in church during the praise session to glorify God.
