Gold, Uranium, bauxite, manganese, ore, etc reserves can be found in these countries in abundance. They have formed their own consortium mining their own minerals unlike some African countries looking for percentages on their minerals. And even those monies end up in people's pockets. The will not be hungry in terms of technology etc. Do you know what they have in stock? Just go to Burkina Faso, they build their own electric bus for public transport.   It's not just about leadership. We need to think and use our brains. We need to come up with solutions to our numerous problems. When are we going to convert our resources into finished products instead of always importing these same finished products?? When are we going to make our own solar panels, cars, planes, electronic goods?? We can't keep giving that same old excuse about government hasn't done this or that. In a the advanced western countries their development was by private entities. IBM, Microsoft, GM, Ford, Rolls Royce, BMW to name a few were all private businesses that grew into the behemoths that they are now. Private investors coupled with smart creative ideas by our research scientists are the way forward instead the same excuse blaming governments.

Continuous self-isolation from the comity of progressives, as a coping mechanism, is not the best way to go. Over reliance on Russia may not also be the best way to go. Use your gumption and pick your fights wisely. Learn from the mistakes of those who followed Russia blindly. Be careful you don’t jump out of the frypan (France) and hastily fall into fire. Anyway, your destinies are in your own hands, but be mindful of the mess your citizens are causing in your neighbouring countries.
