Algeria will play DRC in the round of 16 because they've already topped the group since they beat Burkina Faso and Sudan so Algeria has a superior head to head record in the group even though Burkina Faso or Sudan can match Algeria on points but they (Burkina and Sudan) cannot top the group ahead of Algeria since Algeria has a superior head to head record over any of those two teams (Burkina Faso and or Sudan) who can catch them on points only but not on a head to head record.
