  excessive speed, wrongful/overtaking manoeuvres, and contact with a parked truck are key factors are in most African Countries broken trucks left for long periods in dangerous places turning roads into death traps . Especially if you are from abroad and not customed to these road conditions. That why I don't drive at night in Ghana.

  Over speeding on bad African road is equivalent to signing ur death warrant ! Poor decision making by not paying for a pro transport company with police escort to chauffeur them around! Hopefully, lessons are learnt
