plus with so much experience. By 24 they don't fear to enter the world.Today many students go to university at 16 or 17, after being rushed thru JHS & SHS. They do not have much experience after university ill prepare to start life.Some even spend 3 to 6yrs b4 getting jobs.To correct this, I feel Primary, JHS & SHS shd be merge to reduce the number of exams students write.This will call for abolition of boarding housing, which will reduce expenditure on education by the govt.It needs a bold leader to do these changes.Most advanced countries adopt the high school system, making their youth well experience b4 getting to 30yrs.

Historically, example, prime ministers, CEOs, queens, kings, have ascended to leadership roles while very young in age (less than or in their early 30s). Leaders do not rule alone; they work and depend on trusted and experienced advisors - both young and old. STOP denigrating the youth and let them rise to the occasion. BTW...Ghana has had MANY MANY OLDER people entrusted with POWER to rule and the rest is history; some did well and some flopped. Wisdom and competence is not the exclusive PRESERVE of Ghanaians folks over 40, 50, 60, or 70 years (no disrespect here). There is a hidden and inherent CONSERVATISIM among some so called Ghanaian elites, chiefs, professors, athletes, parliamentarians, who think most of the youth are incapable of leadership (Well, most of them learnt from you all). Please, give them the chance, experience, mentor them and follow good institutional governance and the laws. The internet is widely used, find out if there been leaders - past or present - in other countries in their 30s? Yes!!!!! Professor, at your age, can you lead Ghana as a President if given the chance by your village folks and Ghanaians at-large? Just asking......

To know how young people are careless, just observe who cause more road accidents and cause death. The same young people. Few people in their forties, are careless on the road. And that's how a young person will drive the country with more accidents.

Those fresh out of high school should also qualify to become cabinet members. Ghana has tried having those with advanced ages to run the country, only to see nothing but chaos and lack of progress. Perhaps, doing an age u-turn and allowing those under the age of 20 years to run the country will yield the desired results that the nation yearns for.
