  That is why they have court injucttion and other obstacles to slow the process but they will not succeed. The old system was corrupt and full of goro boys. People can even buy number plates by the road side.

  When did he advertise the tender. Was it a single source contract. Was the Single source contract approved by PPA under which section of Act 663 as amended. Meanwhile there are many companies in Ghana that can perform this service.
  
  How can you award a contract for vehicle number plate system to only one firm for the whole country. This is nothing but greed to the highest level.
  
  Ghanaians should reject this nonsense.

  Why the need for this new numbering system? What is wrong with the old system? This is an avenue to take monies from us. When you started you were silent on change of old numbering system. Then from nowhere, old vehicle numbers should be unboard for a fee. Please make the unboarding less cost effective and the process stress free. Why do you want me to unboard my vehicle for new number as if I'm registering for a fresh number whilst you have all my details with you? What happens to available IT technologies? Please don't waste our time! This is a scheme to defraud us as if we are registering for a new vehicle.
  
  You give me a roadworthy license to go and spoil my car or even kill myself on a bad road for a year, if I'm lucky, come back in a year's time with all the repairs on my vehicle for another licence. Eventually to go and use it on a bad road again. A cyclic death trap and process indeed. Consequently, we are happy, we don't talk. The monies you collect what is the use of it? Useless institution managed by bulk horn CEO. You haven't secured approval yet you're making noise all the time in the media for new numbering system.

  When are we ever going to prioritize road safety above self serving procurement? Should we not be addressing the carnage on our roads that causes several fatalities a day and maims many more of fellow citizens as our national priority, instead on number plates with regional slogans?
  Our current number plates have no expiry dates and we must go to court to test the CEO’s authority to force us to sacrifice our time and money to “fix a problem” that could be easily addressed by the numerous police barriers on our road, security cameras and effective prosecution of any culprits.
