A young man has reportedly appeared on a radio programme to seek help after allegedly stealing over 600 ladies’ panties.
Speaking during Confession Time on Sompa Nkomo, a programme aired on Sompa TV and hosted by popular Ghanaian media personality Genevieve Abrefa Yeboah, popularly known as Oheneni Adazoa, the young man said he was struggling to control the behaviour and did not understand what compelled him to steal the items.
The programme, which focuses on addressing domestic and social issues, gave the young man the platform to publicly confess and appeal for assistance.
According to him, he does not use the stolen panties for anything and has simply packed them away in his room.

“Good afternoon, ma. I am a young man living my life, but I have developed the habit of stealing ladies’ panties. I don’t use them for anything. I have stolen more than 600 panties, which I can even bring as evidence. I don’t know what comes over me.
“Whenever I see them drying outside, I feel compelled to take them. I nearly got beaten one day because of this, so I am pleading for help,” he said.
