The inner roads are untarred and some secomdary schools even have more sophidticated lab equipment than that science and technology umiversity. These are the priorities government must tackle rather than changing names. Mahama is aware of the university's problems but decided to ignore same. In 2016, Mahama as president promosed to tar the university's roads and when a student reminded him of his promise, Mahama's body guards beat that student to pulp.

How can Kwame Nkrumah be the Founder of Ghana when the struggle and the fight for the Independence of Ghana had already been started even before the days of J.B Danquah and he was only invited by Arko Adjei and the other Big Six to help in the fight.
As wicked as Nkrumah was he imprisoned these benefactors and made some of them suffer and die at the Nsawam Prison. It was extremely excellent Nkrumah also died in exile in Guinea from a lonely miserable death. None of his family members including Sekou, Fathia, and his daughter was at Guinea when he died. It served Nkrumah right. How many Ghanaians were made to suffer and die in Prison after they were reported by members of his Young Pioneers who were indoctrinated to report them as his opponents. Yes, these included Lawyers, Teachers, the Police and Ghanaians that were suspected of being in opposition. Nkrumah was a deplorable Dictator who never had any open semblance of opposition to his government. He thought he could challenge Uncle Sam. He was mistaken. Uncle Sam organized Nkrumah’s overthrow with Harley, Kotoka, Ankrah and others to kick him out of office when he was in Vietnam where Uncle Sam had sent him to settle a peace between the Vietnamese. Nkrumah was just Power Drunk and felt he could organize Africa to become its President and lean towards Russia at the time of the Cold War. He was blind and mistaken and made a foolish mistake that caused him his demise.

1. Remove personal names.
2.Reflect the geographical identity of the universities.
3.Strengthen stakeholder engagement and public appeal.
4. Position the universities more broadly within the national and international academic space.
This makes a lot of 'practical sense'.
Unlike the Osagyfo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, whose name is widely known and respected nationally and internationally, the names given to those universities are largely locally known.
This is a very good move by the Government and stakeholders involved.

we must promote the country and its environs more than the individuals who are mortals and shall die.
eg Accra international Airport - shall remain till the end of the world and could promote the Region for tourist and better things.
Kumasi stadium , Hospital , university , international Airport is the best name for the promotion of the Region
public figures could be reward by name some of the numerous streets , parks, parking lots , faculties in the universities , wards t in Hospitals etc to them.
eg
if a ward in a Hospital is named after me Rogue lawyer, I would make sure I do a renovation that suits my statues.
the same way if a street is name after k4 and he has the money he should make sure the street is properly design clean and beautify .
we must start it now-......
if there is a Rotary park and we name it after a prominent person and we have his or her status at the park, even if the person is dead and gone his or her FOUNDATION could take care of the park so that , his or her name shall remains in the lips and minds of the people.
