For Mr Foh Amoaneng to say "We need these players because of England, my question is he saying that without these "good" players, Ghana can never beat England?
The truth is that these kind of players have decided in their hearts to play for England, and therefore rejected Ghana when Ghana needs them most.
The Gospel truth is that realising that their hope of being part of the English team and playing in the world cup is not going to happen, Ghana which they rejected has now become their last hope, through which they will be able to play in the world cup.
Assuming just like Nigerian, Ghana could not qualify for the world cup but qualify for the African Cup of nations, will these so-called good players agree to be part of the Black Stars to play in the African tournament?

Injuries will surely occur, some dedicated players will pick up yellow cards and that is where the inclusion of a few experienced will count. Don't forget the dedication of Jerry Akaminko. In the end he was left out due to injury. Other countries in the same position would jump at the chance to include those it feels can help. It's time for Ghanaians to get off their high horse of false pride. I expect the coach to be more mature this time around.
