Get some youth to draw up a transportation plan to run buses as a private enterprise and govt to support them removing taxes so their prices will be cheap ... read full comment

I look forward to all trotro and taxi drivers going on strike during the holidays. Ghanaians are just too greedy for words. Basic economics is pushing up the price.

I look forward to all trotro and taxi drivers going on strike during the holidays. Ghanaians are just too greedy for words. Basic economics is pushing up the price.

- Demand has increased because customers want to travel to shop, attend parties, and visit others.
Only an ignorant fool or greedy beggar believes the drivers should bear that burden alone. My drivers are thrilled that I double the fee and tack on extra during events. My husband called one last Friday night at 2:15am because our son had a medical emergency. We live in a remote area, but he had our son at the hospital in less than 30-minutes because he knows we pay well.
I bet the market people complaining the loudest are raising their prices. Prove me wrong.
