Years ago, my brother and his team who were by then working in the health sector in the USA met a 35 year old Mexican with 14 children. The woman came to their facility to have her 15th child,they asked her of the man who impregnated her and shd claimed she did not know. She was trying to deceive them bcoz she knew she had violated the law,they quickly handed her to the security agencies. Upon investigation they found out 2 men fathered those kids.They were arrested and given compulsory bisectomy with the woman's womb blocked. Ghana also has those laws and can be implemented.

When you are ill and you go to the hospital, does the doctor need your permission to give you the necessary drugs to cure your ailment? I really doubt the authenticity of the entire story but if so, why should this human incubator continue to be allowed to have more children than she cannot possibly take care of? As a low income coco seller, didn't she have the same financial problems after her second or even her first child? She must be a nymphomaniac with a fertile womb who can't hold back from having sex - and that being the case, why should the public be burdened with her problems? Your proposed solution of adoption will actually create further difficulties in the psychological make-up of the children.

Instead, their focus tends to be solely on sexual enhancement. She was fully aware of her circumstances, yet she chose to engage with an irresponsible partner. Now that he is no longer around, how will she take care of the children? This highlights the importance of serious sex education. However, in my Ghana, the common belief is that one should continue having children because "God will take care of you." This mindset is simply misguided and it's absolutely nonsense. Even in richer countries people give birth to a maximum of 4 children.
