The take away from this report was that no one is above the law. That is wisdom. Ghana needs peace not only Bawku. I did my National Service there and I know the place very well. Kudos and let peace reign.

The Dagbon conflict resolution was the same. All facts considered were previously established by commission of inquiries/resolutions as you term it. Yet there was no peace.
It is not the fact that the resolutions were already known. It was getting the warring parties to accept the "known" resolutions that mattered. Asantehene deserves credit for that.
This applies to the current Bawku conflict. If the parties accept and abide by the "known " resolutions presented by Asantehene the credit similarly, goes to him, even if the President modifies it
It's one thing having established resolutions and another thing having them accepted.
Resolutions not accepted by the relevant parties are useless.
This is NOT waste of resources and cheap popularity as you put it. IT IS THE CRITICAL PART OF THE PROCESS.......getting warring parties to accept a resolution, already known or unknown.
