Very apt action. There is no one in Ghana who can occupy the position without political eyes. Let all prosecutorial powers lies with the AG. If he cannot prosecute his own people then when power changes the then AG can do so. The case of the Agyebeng is a lesson to learn to the affect that he is rather playing tricks and aiding criminals to side step the law just because the thieves are either his family members or his party affiliates. The fact that you dont see someone on campaign grounds does not mean he is apolitical. This office must go.

What about their salaries? Don't you know their salaries are almost comparable to State Attorneys? What will happen to the non lawyers among them, are they going to receive same salaries as State Attorneys when migrated to the Attorney Genera's Department? Will the current staff of the Attorney General's Department who are not lawyers be happy if they are paid less than the migrated staff? Per the labour law salaries of staff must not be reduced if they are transferred to other organisations.
