I think we should assess the benefits of the scholarships against our investments into foreign countries academic institutions instead of our local ones.

Does Ghana have to offer scholarships for studies in overseas countries? Almost all the programs for which scholarships are issued could be offered in University of Ghana, KNUST, University of Cape Coast and several Ghanaian universities. The fraudulent part of the whole thing is that most, if not all, of the foreign students, never return home after graduation. Ghanaians should be told who had benefited and graduated from foreign scholarships in the last ten years, and where in Ghana are these graduates working in Ghana.
