Burkina Faso now has multiple operational tomato processing factories as of late 2024 and 2025, launched to reduce imports and boost local agriculture. Key facilities include the SOFATO plant (Yako) and the SOBTO plant (Bobo-Dioulasso), with more planned or under construction. This is because the produce more tomatoes cheaply than Ghana, and all the investment is by the private sector.

Why not invest that money into mega production of the solar panels, batteries and accessories right here in Ghana at a massive scale, which will make it even more affordable for all citizens and eventually export and it to other African countries to generate more revenue for the country.
You never sign any deal in the name of Ghana which is not gonna generate money for the country in the longterm. Always make revenue generate the baseline.
