While I appreciate the Civil Aviation Authority's focus on improving passenger terminal services, these improvements must address fundamental issues of convenience and passenger dignity. Increasing services must not mean increasing frustration.
My experience, and that of many others who travel, highlights two critical areas where policy is not just inconvenient, but actively uncivilized and unfriendly:
1. Essential, Free Inter-Terminal Connectivity
The current lack of a seamless link for connecting passengers is a major oversight, especially in a modern airport environment.
I strongly urge the implementation of a free shuttle ride or an equivalent alternative link (like a covered moving walkway or concourse) between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
The current situation where passengers must take a taxi, involving an unnecessary fee and effort, just to transfer between two terminals is awkward, inefficient, and costly. For an airport aiming for world-class standards, inter-terminal connection must be a complimentary, easy-to-access service.
2. Elimination of Mandatory Paid Pickup Policy
The current mandatory system for passenger pick-up is regressive, awkward, and effectively amounts to a punitive entrance fee just to collect a traveler. This is unacceptable and has no place in modern aviation.
The requirement for all cars (taxis, ride-hailing apps like Uber/Bolt, and private vehicles) to enter a paid car park first before passengers can be picked up with their luggage must be stopped immediately.
The Civil Aviation Authority must create a designated, free-of-charge Pickup Area where all authorized vehicles are permitted a limited, set time to load pre-arranged passengers and their luggage.
We are passengers, not detainees. The over-militarized, awkward, and unfriendly acts surrounding the basic act of being picked up must cease. The focus should be on secure, efficient throughput, not mandatory fees and confusion.
Improving the passenger terminal experience means improving the entire journey, right up to the point of leaving the airport. Until these two points—free connectivity and a free, civilized pickup zone—are addressed, any talk of service "improvements" will feel hollow to the traveling public.

Security and proper identification at the airport should be a priority. There are many goro boys and girls. Many unauthorized people who have no business at the airport. Loitering around. Who is who? As soon as you ventured into the visitors' area, with luggage. Everyone wants to assist in the loading of your stuff. I hope the airport security team can get rid of these loiterers.
Thank you
