The funny thing is NDC is blaming the past government on the poor WASSCE result, and at the same time praising themselves for turning the economy around within ten months in office, make sense?
NDC first budget excluded teachers meaning Mahama has no respect for teachers but want them to give their all to children in the classroom.

I was only a serious student in school because I saw my father working hard everyday to take care of us and I didn't want to disappoint him.
If the school was free I don't think I would have worked as hard.

Kanawu, do you know that Libya under Gaddafi had free education from K-G through university and was it a bad idea? Traore of Burkina Faso had mandated that education in his nation should be free from K-G through university so, why do you think children should relax due to that without upping themselves to take advantage of what the country is given them?
In Ghana, we are our enemies because as soon as the government comes up with something to benefit those at the bottom, those at the top will make sure to smear the program just to keep some Ghanaians struggling.
I didn't benefit from the free SHS program but will not speak ill against it because the other Ghanaian will benefit from it.

It dows not make any iota of sense to blame FSHS for this years poor performance. The statistics are available to show how progressively since the intro of FSHS performance has been rising. The MP of Pru West to suggest Nana Addo allowed cheating is the most stupid statement anyone can profer to justify what has happened this year. But of course President Mahama said same in the past and during the campaign. Government should stop the blame game and being lazy and go into what has happened.

Do you know that printing past question is not something new, it was around during the 60s, 70s, 80s etc, and that doesn't mean student should relax without learning.

Looks like Miracles Aboagye is snarling. Whatever he says, when the foundation is weak, the building collapses against the faintest wind. What are we investigating when the students cannot form one single correct sentence in English? What are we investigating when these students do not have textbooks in the core subjects? What do we expect when teachers do not have the syllabus? What do we investigate when students are given laptops to watch phonographic pictures? Heh! What at all do we investigate today when we already know the problem? What appraisal is Dennis Kofi Aboagye talking about? Sounds like a kind of nonsense we are not used to.

Someone, anyone in the NPP including the certifiable liar Miracles Aboagye should explain 3 basic concepts and linkages to the WASSCE failures:
(1) Why did Ghana withdraw from the WASSCE examination scheme immediately after implementation of the free SHS scheme?
(2) At what grade level must SHS students understand badic math concepts/ principles? Are WASSCE examinations seeking comprehensive knowledge and understanding of subjects or based on last/final year of study?
3. Was there evidence from WASSCE that all failed students did poorly because of subjects taught over the last academic year?
From where I sit, the 2 things that are certainly true are (a) the students who flunked the WASSCE exams did not become SHS students in September 2024 or September 2025; they were in their final year in 2025 and (b) the absolute majority of teachers at all SHS institutions remained same in 2025 as they were in 2024.
