During the period of apartheid in Southern Africa, Israel supported the Dutch apartheid masters.Her excuse was that Russia and China were assisting African nations to gain their independence, so she must do whatever she likes to hurt Russia.
In 1962 Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah invited Israeli agriculturalist to assist him with agriculture, with machinery supplied by the Soviet Union, not excluding aircrafts for spraying crops.
The Farmers' Brigade was formed with the advise of those Israeli experts.
But the Israeli government don't want any African nation to be food sufficient, because that will prevent them from buying food from US food exporting companies, most of which are Jewish.

They cleansed North Africa of its indigenous tribes and took over. They few North African indigenes left today are effectively second class citizens in their ancestral homelands.

When Nkrumah tried to unite Africa in the early 1960s, the Arab countries in the Casablanca group made the Arab - Israel conflict a conditionality, straining bilateral relationship between Israel and Ghana and other African countries. The Monrovia group had no such conditionality.

Yse, Israel collaborated with the Apartheid regime of South Africa for a period. But what do you when everyone (including poor, hungry African countries) distance themselves from you because of a pan Arab cause? When the OAU was distancing itself from Israel and even preventing Israeli reps from attending OAU meetings as observers because of a cause that was not an African cause, no how much Israel tried to form stronger relationships with African countries, what was Israel supposed to do? So, we Africans have foolishly sacrificed our interests for a pan Arab cause.

Recently, even Okudjato Ablakwa was throwing tantrums at the Israeli Ambassador over a normal, harmless expression of his disagreement with Ghana voting stance. We always want to be islamic than Arabs and more Catholic than the Pope.

Imagine Hamas organising the rape and massacre of 1200 civilians (not soldiers) including children at a music festival, elderly people, women, foreigners (including a young Tanzanian man who had gone to Israel on scholarship to study Agriculture), and then they and misguided supporters called such cowardly acts 'resistance'. Who are the terrorists? When Zimbabweans had to fight a resistance war for their independence, they fought against armed, fighting soldiers. They did not rape and murder women and children.
