Move by Nyindam is appropriate and timely. The judge cannot continue to hold on to his written judgment for untold reasons. What precluded the Judge from requesting for reruns in the four or so polling stations without calling for a rerun of the whole constituency? After all there has been past precedence when reruns were held for a few polling stations like was done at Ablekuma. The indication is that the NDC candidate would still lose even if all the votes at the contested stations were credited to him. Why does the NDC now want a complete rerun?

Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over elections matters but on technicality like this , then it can come in . Appeal court is the last stop of election matters.

No fair minded Judge or Justice will rule against the decision of re- run , as the District EC officer did a very bad job. You can not give out pink sheets with different polling votes figures from what you have. It’s not just the 41 polling stations but majority of the polling stations. That District EC guy should be prosecuted. Anyway, it’s smart move to go to supreme court with technicality like out of time filing this case than appealing it at Appeals courts but no Judge or Justice will reverse the High Court decision.
