Before the muslim girl was admitted into Wesley girls, didn't she know that it was a Christian school? Moslems want to have their way everywhere they go. Look at how they have overun UK, Canada, France etc, insisting on being allowed to practice their culture. Nonsense again! Someone's country and you want to run amok. What kind of people are these?

  The interesting part of the writ is the use of human rights as grounds. Although human rights are universal, my question is do they actually believe and practice what they are preaching? There’s much abuse of human rights by these same guys than anyone can imagine. The slaver, use of capital punishment, force, manipulation of the girl child, physical abuses have all been recorded in homes, schools, mosques etc. How I wish these same guys under influence would have done their home work well but that’s the case with many religions who fail to practice what they teach

  When the Achimota Rasta issue popped up a couple of years back, we just allowed it to fizzle out! That was the time we should all have come out to respect what schools must do to sustain their mission and vision.
  
  Everybody aspires to be trained in the best schools in the country. These best schools achieved their status through determination, planning and working hard to maintain their choices. They could not achieved anything working in isolation from, but in collaboration with, the students. Nobody forces any students to enter such institutions. Students who decide to enter such schools must be prepared to abide by the mantra of the institutions. Those who cannot abide by the dictates of such institutions must never force themselves there, but opt for schools where they feel comfortable to fit in.
  
  The founding fathers/mothers of these institutions laid down the path that they aspired to go in order to achieve their goals. Generations who have passed through such institutions appreciate what they had become by following the path that had been set out for them. Students who want to attend such institutions must understand that their rights to whatever they claim to be theirs cannot upset the practiced procedures these institutions have followed all along. Anybody who cannot adapt to the tenets of these institutions must not go anywhere near them. After all, if it is all about getting good grades, there are several other institutions they could have chosen from.
  
  If we continue to unjustifiably change rules by referring to rights, without reference to accompanied responsibilities, we will have ourselves to blame now and throughout eternity.
  
  After all, SHS is only for three years. Those who want to practice their religion can live with the distraction for three years and go back fully to live their own lives after they have used the opportunity to acquire the grades they want!
  
  If we want the courts to rule on these things, then they must do it once. Since it is now about religious freedom, let the courts rule that TI Ahmadiyya SHS in Kumasi, say, must provide students with pork chops for lunch! It is the favourite of my nephew, who is now a first year student there. Otherwise that will be the next schedule on their case files!
