The day Muslim population will reach about 40% of Ghana's population is then that we can see what they can do. While the Muslims will come with one voice on issues, Christians on the other hand will be fighting each other.

ALL SHOULD KINDLY FACT CHECK PLEASE
Several Muslim-majority countries have banned or restricted the hijab, particularly in public schools, universities, and government buildings. Notable examples include Tajikistan, which banned it completely in June 2024, and Tunisia, which had a ban in public institutions since 1981 (though partially lifted in 2011). Other countries with restrictions include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey, with bans in educational or government settings.
Tajikistan: Banned the hijab completely in June 2024, citing the need to protect "national cultural values" and prevent "extremism".
Tunisia: Banned the hijab in public institutions since 1981, though some restrictions were lifted in 2011.
Azerbaijan: Has a ban on the hijab in public schools and universities.
Kazakhstan: Banned the hijab in public institutions, citing reasons of public good and security.
Kyrgyzstan: Has banned the niqab and hijab in public schools and universities.
Turkey: Gradually lifted bans on the hijab in educational and government institutions.

Please please Muslim parents and their wards, you don’t have to go to Wesley Girls or any well recognized school with good grades to be successful in education. Please stop disturbing our educational system with your nuisance. Muslim parents, educate your children at Ahmadia SS or any institution that will tolerate this distraction. Go and pray 40 times where it is acceptable and leave the Christian institutions alone . You are just a bunch of trouble makers in this world. I F YOU’RE NOT AWARE, PLEASE STAY IN YOUR LANE WHERE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE TO STUDY. If the Christians give in to your religious demands today, the next thing we will see is the entire school hall ways will be guttered with’Bootah’ kettles , just like what Oauttara , the President of the Ivory Coast has brought filt to Abidjan . BOOTA all over city road sides. A very smart student doesn’t care where he/ she goes to school.

Who should tell a fool to wash his face to be able to see clear? Can't the parents of that child identify what that school represent? So do you want to tell me that slavery by arabs n white stop but still continuing in our brains?

The mission schools will not kowtow to the dictates of the Muslim religion. It is not by force to attend a school that teaches religious studies opposite to yours. They are fighting a loose battle because the Christian mission schools will not yield to their demands. There’s a reason why God in his wisdom created the Christian religion to be greater than the Muslims religion. No country in Africa shall develop with Muslim in their midst. What has the traditions of those schools brought Ghana. 149 years of those school and we are still importing virtually everything on earth. Until we integrate more and work together, we will continue to be at where we are. What has fasting by few students who identify themselves as Muslims and want to fast during Ramadan got to do with the values of mission schools? If those schools were formed with the sole aim of denying Muslims admission, they should state it clearly. But once it’s a second cycle institution, every Ghanaian will expect that it will be tolerant and respect the faith of other religions. Please missionary schools should just state clearly that Muslims are not welcome

I disagree with your argument, Dr. Afriyie.
Look, between the two parties, Muslim students and the Christian faith based schools, the burden of flexibility and accommodating students of other faiths lie with those faith based schools more than anybody else. After all, they were the ones who, without any coersion, accepted the conditions of the government when they WILLINGLY applied for government subvention. So, even though you're entitled to your opinion, an opinion based on twisted facts lacks legimacy. How do you accept a bilateral agreement and later turn around and subtly abrogate the agreement under the pretext that you're out to protect your Christian doctrines? It's as if someone is telling Gey Hey to throw out their principles. It's even more ridiculous to argue that merely allowing Muslims to fast and observe their daily prayers tantamount to forcing Gey Hey to stop being Methodist Christians. This is a betrayal of an agreement and recalcitrance at It's best
