  Any citizen who trusts a living politician does not value his own life.
  Power is more essential to the politician than the lives of all the citizens in his country.
  Now we know that even the written word of the President is like a dry leaf which is brittle and easily broken, if by breaking his own word will help him retain and entrench himself in power.

  That is a real conflict of decision coming from the same Office of the President comparing the initial letter with the recent letter. This is because Article 199(4) of the Ghanaian Constitution allows a public Officer to retire at age 60 but could be re- engaged as for a period of two (2) years at a time and five (5) years in total depending on the exigencies that calls for it.
  The Only challenge and conflict of decision with Government is that there was a new policy as at this year April 2025 which cancelled all post retirement contracts and engagement and so in situations like this unless a citizen picks up a petition to contest it at the Court to seek interpretation from the Supreme Court with regards to the ambiguity and conflicts of interest with executive orders which I know that the Court will construct it interpretation from Judicial review,Constitutionalism, Rule of law to adjudicate clarity in accordance to Constitutional laws of Ghana
  
  In my view the Government has the right to re- engage the IGP since is mandated by the Constitution under Article 199(4) where he has a strong defense on the clause there to re- engage the IGP depending on the exigencies but his own executive orders with their earlier policy which was adopted in April has cought him in a web and it will require Supreme Court to decide on it
  
  Considering the supremacy of our Ghanian constitution Article 2(1) on the grounds of any other laws or policies or legislative instrument which is inconsistent with the provisions of the constitution will be void. The executive orders in my view is inconsistent to what is currently in force in Article 199(4) and since it has not been officially amended the executive orders can not be bigger to override that provision and so it's need to be contested at the Supreme Court
