NPP in reality was the minority in the last parliament. Most of the filed cases were never given judgement for 4 years under Anim Yeboah and Getrude Tokornoo. No wonder percrption of the judiciary was at an all time low under the 8 years of NPP.

The irregularities were profoundly universal in the constituency, thus the judgement for a rerun to ensure fairness to all. It is only the High Court that has jurisdiction over parliamentary elections. The case cannot go beyond the High Court.
