  The Minister of Food & Agriculture has no business explaining the salaries of MMCEs. He has muddied the waters by his spurious explanation. This issue is in the domain of the Ministry Local Government or Ministry of Finance. So what does the salary get to if you increase by 10% annually from 2012 to current? What a spurious explanation from someone who has no business talking of an issue outside his Ministry!

  Why should a Minister of Agriculture respond to allegations of conditions of services for appointees under the Ministry of Local Government? This beggars belief. What prevents this minister for heaven's sake from declining to respond and asking the interviewer to direct their query to the appropriate Minister. African politicians are quick to respond to every question even if they don't have the facts.
