  Do tell the foreign investors that unlike the UK in Ghana if you purchase a property you should know that your ownership is only for a limited period. You will have to go and buy the property again when the lease expires and at that time they will value the property and you will have to again pay and are at the mercy of the land owners who can demand anything they want because now you are at their mercy and there are no laws protecting you.

Chiefs office turns up demanding digging fee money you have already paid and when you produce your receipts. They claim its out of date.its only valid for 2 years but not on the receipts they gave you initially. And now the price has doubled. Licence to Scam.
