It would also generate revenue for Ghana as many military personnel from other countries would have to enroll and study there instead of going to UK, India and US.
The more educated military and security officers in Ghana, the m=higher the tenets of democracy and the less likelihood of lawlessness in the country.

The UK is a UN Security Council Member with global comittments. Is Ghana a Member of the UN Security Council. It is also a Nuclear Power. The most Ghana Military is committed is to be able to fish out a few galamseyers in Ahwuasi forest and deliver a few talk true slaps . Beyond that even its UN Commitments in Lebanon are financed by the UN.

The UK has Military commitments with over 70 countries around the world. It has geopolitical interest which needs to be protected from the Falkland Islands in Latin America to its territoris in the Caribbean to its commitments in the Pacific which reqires a military presence. The most Ghana Army is doing is to try to find galamseyers in the forest of Ahwiaso. Do you need a Military University to deal with Galamseyers.

The Annual Budget of the Ghana Army is $230m. That is the UK is $63billion. And you think you can compare the two.

The numeriacl strengthof the Ghana Army is about 15,000 with about 200 Officer Corps. The UK has over 110,000 fighting men with over 1000 Officer Corps. So for just 200 Officer Corps you want a Military University to the estblished. So that we have another debt of over $50m per annum running a University with less than 100 intakes so those in charge can syphon the balance to their families and private accounts whilst KNUST and Legon struggle for funds to run their Operations.

We have a lot of university graduates who don't even have interprenoaural mindset.all they seek for is to be employed but not to create something unique and innovative enough to employ other.

So far I am not happy with Haruna being the minister of education. He will do better as minister of defense or lands and natural resources.
