  This is very true. A parent made a similar complaint to me a few weeks ago when I was looking for admission in that school for a friend's son. The major worry is the water they consume, which is contaminated with dangerous life threatening chemicals. Abomoso STEM School, with its beautiful infrastructure and arguably the best STEM school in the country must not be left at the mercy of criminals. and government, through NAIMOS must act immediately. Why the school authorities are silent baffles me.

  This galamsey menace can be brought to an end in a just a week if the government were to mobilize the Ghana military and deploy them to all the regions to descend on galamsey areas and, with help from the Police, arrest and prosecute any persons caught engaging in that criminal activity. The Ghana military is not engaged in any foreign war, and there's no reason why that force can't be unleashed on the galamsey bandits.
