THE BUDGET DID NOT SEEK TO ADDRESS IMPROVEMENT IN SANITATION OF CITIES ,FLOODING AND INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN TOURISM SITES TO BOOST TOURIST ATTRACTIONS. ACCRA, KUMASI ,CAPE COAST, TAKORADI,TAMALE ,KOFORIDUA AND OTHERS ARE ALL FIRLTHY WITH CHOKED AND SMELLY GUTTERS .ACCRA LACK TREE PLANTATION AND FLOWERS ,LACK PROPER BEACHES AND GOOD SANITATION. WE ALL KNOW GHANA HAS MUCH POTENTIAL TO ATTRACT TOURISTS INTO THE COUNTRY TO EARN FOREIGN CURRENCIES.THEREFORE ITS RATHER UNFORTUNATE THAT THE NDC GOVERNMENT BUDGET FAILED TO ADDRESS IN IMPROVEMENT IN SANITATION TO BOOST TOURISM .INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT.

Invest in primary health care too. Teach the citizens to keep their environment clean. Train sanitary inspectors who can go around and ensure that our surroundings are clean. Make overhead allocations in the budget for sanitation purposes. The toilets in many places including Government offices across the country are not well maintained. In fact, it is very easy to contract a disease in some of those toilets. Set up a hygienic council at every work place to ensure a certain minimum level of cleanliness at work places. These are not impossible to implement if we are determined to build a new Ghana. Remember that a country's level of development is also determined by its level of environmental cleanliness.
