When will we, as a country, become proactive instead of reactive? It’s heartbreaking that a simple military recruitment exercise, an event meant to build national strength and opportunity could result in the of lives.
This shouldn’t happen. It’s a reflection of a larger problem: the absence of planning, poor crowd control, and weak safety systems. We cannot continue to wait for tragedy before we act.
Being proactive means putting systems in place, valuing every life, and ensuring that national processes from recruitment to education and healthcare are carried out with foresight, dignity, and responsibility. Ghana deserves better
