If the NPP government had not left behind a bottomless pit of debt for the NDC to redeem, if the NPP had not rescheduled debt payment to periods they the party had left office, and if the debt in the energy sector had been cleared by the NPP before leaving office, and if the NPP officials had not looted and raped the state, I tell you, Ama, this new government would have more than doubled the salaries of workers and pegged the minimum wage bill at a margin beyond imagination. Never mind, Ama. The good thing is that you hibernate and spring back to life occasionally and when you do, you say something strange. Strange because you often miss a lot whilst you hibernate.
