  What would let John Cribo Mahama remove a sitting Chief Justice based on some dubious evidence and some personal vendetta and place you there when every Ghanaian knows what happened in 2013, I mean if not for sake of rewarding you for good job done at the 2013 elections petition? What really did Gertrude Torkonoo do that triggered her removal? Anyway, there’s an Akan adage that goes like:

When Tokonnoo was always ruling in favour of Npp, the courts were not politicized, right?   Being on the Supreme Court for 17 years shouldn't guarantee you the CJ position. The appointers/President can appoint anyone on the Supreme Court or from outside the Court to be the CJ. It's only in Ghana that we have this entitlement syndrome of seniority. This seniority entitlement is holding Ghana backwards. So if there's a person who could do the CJ job better than the most senior Justice on the court, that person couldn't be appointed? And Baffoe Bonnie can only serve one year in office before reaching his mandatory retirement age. Why can't Ghana appoint someone who can serve for at least 5 years before reaching the retirement age? The musical chair is too much. The current US CJ was nominated by President Bush to be a Justice of the court but before his Senate vetting the CJ Rehnquist died and his nomination was elevated to that of the CJ. So he got onto the Supreme Court as the CJ bypassing all those who were then already on the Supreme Court.

So not only did you work in the same chambers with Sir John in Kejetia but you were also classmates with from 6th Form at Konongo-Odumasi Secondary School and roommate throughout the 3 yrs in Legon Law School and two years at School of Law. Sir John left to go to secondary school via common entrance at Form 3 you Baffoe Bonnie completed form four before you went to secondary school. Sir John would 73 if he were to be alive while your course mate in Law and at the Supreme Court Justice Yeboah is 72.
