What did you say when that lady insulted Asantefour and Asanteman on live TV programme. When punitive action was taken by Nananom what did you sit in Accra and reply Nananom. Asantehene may have absolute control of ownership of land in his kingdom, but there is a lack of power of how his sub chiefs manage it.This is where the galamsey guys are taking advantage. I think the Asantehene shd take a critical look at that problem.For some us we feel Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, shd have used his powers to have nationalised all lands in Ghana, when we had our independence. There would have been resistance, but then if he had insisted we would have overcome many problems we have today.

  Nkrumah had no power to seize any land. Governments from the pre and post independence period negotiated with the traditional leaders before various lands were set aside for government use.
  In fact, lands that are not used for their intended purposes are supposed to revert back to the original owners.

  Is Otumfour the president of Ghana? do we pay tax to him? Is he in control of all the national security needed for this exercise? At least we know how he has dealt with some of his chiefs within Ashanti region who have allegedly involved in this menace, those chiefs have been destooled we are in the region and have witnessed that which has put fear in others. What has the leadership of this country done in dealing with this issue beginning from the previous government till date, and now Otumfour has become the President of Ghana all of a suden to fight Ghana's Galamsey, Jokers.
