You're seeking a strategic investor but you and your management team and the board go there to have fun with your families and pay nothing. How can such state businesses thrive? It's the same thing that happened to Ghana Airways, STC and likes. Is it not the same schools private entities management team and staff attended that leaders and staff of public institutions attended? Look at Cocobod, PBC, Tor, Pioneer Good Canary, Valco, Bonsa Tyres, Kade Matches Factory, Akosombo Textiles, Komenda Sugar Factory, Ghana Railways etc? There's something fundamentally wrong with the kind of governance system we are practicing. African leaders like this kind of democracy so they can steal. The part of democracy that has to do with accountability is disliked by politicians. We are sick!

If one hotel can make $80 million profit in a year, why not benchmark that hotel for the rest. Ghana and chop chop. List these hotels on the stock market. Hire top notch management as was the case of Labadi Beach. The poor performance is due to poor management and terrible boards members of which are political party cronies who have no idea what it takes to run a hospitality industry.

Some of you are very stupid and dunderheads to think that those hotels should have been given to Bryan for cheap. Your Bryan didn’t have enough money to meet the quota set by SSNIT at the time. Bryan wanted to deposit a fraction of the amount requested by the management and the rest was going to be work and pay deal. This current SSNIT management aren’t going to give away majority shares to an individual. The difference between the NDC and NPP are clear; one is transparent and the other is not. NPP never again!
