Re: Ivorian journalists confer in Accra
How very sad! The problem is not so much who controls the state media as the journalist's unwillingness, or is it incapacity to be professional. Pitiful.

Re: Poor Africa
do not agree with the so called lack of education. the Problem has nothing to do with education but the willingness to do what's right.

BIASED MEDIA IS A THREAT TO SOCIETY
This is a clear indication of how highly biased media is a threat not only to democracy but to the peace, unity and security of civil society. This Ivorian crisis as unfortunate as it might be, offers great lessons to African

DIALOGUE, NOT BULLETS

Dear Fellow, Most people did not know much about Ivory Coast before the current crisis, although Ghana and Ivory Coast are real sister countries. I think colonial divide through imposed foreign language is one major reason.

Serge make it a point to enlighten us on matters at home. Most people on the forum, through no fault of theirs, have their opinion shaped by mis/disinformation from Western Media. I still maintain that France- the heart and s

GAGBO IS IN POWER FOR 10 YEARS
GAGBO IS A DICTATOR AND MUST BE REMOVED BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. I ASK HIS SUPPORTERS, HOW MANY MORE YEARS DO THEY WANT HIM TO BE IN POWER. ETERNITY? 10 YEARS IS TOO MUCH FOR A DEMOCRACY

Gagbo in power for 10 years
Hi Serge, I have read your history of the political situation in your country. If you still want him to stay in power for another term what was then the use of the election which was held recently?

Re: Gagbo in power for 10 years
hi ma leso, the use of an election is to elect a president in office as simple as that. We have chosen Gbagbo through the ballots and that's final. By the way it's not my history of the political situation but the history.
