I strongly support this requirement. Apart from safety on our roads, it will increase the security of the passengers. It will also be difficult for just anybody at all to become a ride-hailing driver. Some of these drivers use their own cars although working for bolt or others. My problem is the middle men at DVLA. Too many and every one needs something. How can you eliminate them?

Drivers should be made to take DUI Tests before they take off from the Station, and immediately they arrive at their destinations. Those who drive on Long Distances should be made to take such tests and then the results compared to find out if they were driving under the influence. Our Commercial Drivers contribute tremendously towards road accidents and always blame such accidents on Brake failures. Why do Commercial Vehicles in Developed Countries not always have Brake Failures as the causes of their Road Accidents. Drivers on the roads of Developed countries drive faster but obey Traffic Regulations. They don’t drive like crazy people who are High on Drugs..
We have got to a turn where Vehicle Drivers who drive Under Influence should be made to do a reasonable Prison Time. If caught again for a DUI, their Drivers License should be taken away and not be allowed to drive for about Five Years. If caught again for the Third Time, the Driver should be banned from driving for the rest of his life. Driving Under the Influence is dangerous and can be catastrophic and disastrous. Let all of us drive carefully and under no influence.
