Sometimes one wonders the kind of considerations that go into some of Mahama's decisions. The moment the SML contract came into the limelight, it was more than obvious that it was a very corrupt deal planned and executed by/under the supervision of one of the dangerous criminals in the history of Ghana, who had immense political power at the time - not even an 'uprising' by NPP MPs at the time could affect him.
These auditing firms are also corrupt and are used by the politicians to do their dirty. The NDC uses PwC while NPP uses KPMG. And it was very clear that KPMG only did whitewashing job on the SML deal. So why on earth did Mahama appoint someone, who was neck deep in whitewashing that dirty deal, as head of no other entity than GRA? Mahama, don't make us regret for voting for you oo. Don't let it be a case of "from frying pan to fire"

KPMG was given TOR to work with; the OSP invented it's own TOR and ran with it. Should it be surprising that the OSP is supposedly finding things that KPMG did not find?

At any rate an audit is not the same as a criminal investigation. If the OSP has found incriminating evidence, it should go to court to prove its case and hold the culprits accountable and stop wasting our time with its useless public gimmicks.
