So Dagombas, Nanumbas and Mumprusi were living at Daboya modern day Savana region, and had fight with Gonjas who want to Kill them finish. They were running helter scattered when Konkombas came to their rescue and give them lands to settle. They even repel the Gonjas and Push them far away to Damango. When the British took over German lands after WWII these very people were allowed to be use as indirect rulers. After Independence nothing change and Achempoang government came and create paramount chiefdoms and even put Northern lands under stools/Skins occupied by these chiefs. Seeing the juicy and delicious systems, they fabricated history to look different and tell fallacious stories about who they are. I am shy and so ashame to learnt this. The nauseating about it is the propaganda they use. Posterity will judge them for such ungrateful act.

The maintenance culture of asset and property management in Ghana is abysmal. They spend money to build, yet nothing is done to ensure it’s continued and proper functioning into the foreseeable future. A demonic habit of running things down, with I don’t care attitude. You build a house, siblings occupy it and run it down. Zenator is a trained physician yet, she has not proven her sort a a physician, concerning even the health of her own parents. All the physicians are now politicians. Okoe Boye, Zenator Rawlings and the new Asante Region regional minister. Who should do the job they were trained with taxpayers money to do. It is all greed and pursuit of fame and quick money. Why wouldn’t our health facilities run down?

We cannot help it, as Africans, or perhaps because of poverty we do not have time to keep things neat or in good operation. I do partially place blame, however, on 2 Ghanaian character traits of greed and the lack of foresight brought on by ignorance.
Structures and institutions fail because of catastrophic failures of management to budget and implement preventive (PM) maintenance schedules; everything is about how much money is available in a proposed budget that can be stolen, misused or mismanaged.
The minimization of the importance of PM cut across all sectors of society, rich or poor. People buy cars, homes and recreational play toys such as boats with the majority lacking adherence to manufacturer recommended PM schedules. The absolute majority of Ghanaians who own vehicles and expensive homes at times of purchase have either ignored PM schedules or simply did not allocate budgets for maintenance.
It is not suprising that the late Konadu clinic is in disrepair; look at what we did with all Kwame Nkrumah era factories and buildings. While Nkrumah's CPP government had what then called Public Works Dept (PWD) that kept major roads, structures at ministries, government properties and state owned housing environments cleaneds and "sanitized" with routine garbage pick ups, Ghana after 1970 fell back into its indisciplined mode of community existence.
We replaced or sacrificed sound enviromental cleanliness that help with extending life expectancy with the Busia-Danquah and NPP ideals driven by greed sold to the masses as "property seeking" democracy. Today we expend government monies to build or buy (a process where people in power get to steal money through skimming) but no enforceable maintenance scheme.

This issue should be investigated further. Was the facility under the care of her 31 December womens movement or the Ghana health service? In all these what prevents her children from pulling resources together to renovate the place in honour of their mother? They can plan and commission the facility @ their mother's 1 year anniversary of her passing . But generally speaking the culture of maintenance of public property in Ghana is nothing to write home about. From vehicles, buildings. I know basic schools that were commissioned in the Busia regime (1969-1972) Not for once have the schools seen paint since then not to talk of renovation.

Hmmm here we go again.Who are the people primarily benefiting from the clinic. This was a project envisioned to bring health care to the doorstep of the market women without them straying away from their businesses when the need arises right? I believe this clinic has saved so many many lives over the years. Are the beneficiaries expecting the visionaries to keep it running in the name of goodwill?
It's just somebody outside the country, builds a house put in a caretaker,at the end of the day,the caretaker is expecting the owner of the house to come down and sweep the house. You know what I am talking about.
Nana poured her heart and soul for mother Ghana more especially women.Yet almost everything she helped in championing is nothing to write home about.
Honestly even if Mary the mother of Jesus Christ comes to Ghana to establish an entity for common good for people, she wouldn't be faraway when the I don't care syndromes will start kicking in. Thanks to the selfish, greedy and the pull him down (PHD) mentality of the nation wreckers.Unless we intentionally pay the price by changing our ways of life and how we think, Ghana shall always be like the evil play ground.
