So Dagombas, Nanumbas and Mumprusi were living at Daboya modern day Savana region, and had fight with Gonjas who want to Kill them finish. They were running helter scattered when Konkombas came to their rescue and give them lands to settle. They even repel the Gonjas and Push them far away to Damango. When the British took over German lands after WWII these very people were allowed to be use as indirect rulers. After Independence nothing change and Achempoang government came and create paramount chiefdoms and even put Northern lands under stools/Skins occupied by these chiefs. Seeing the juicy and delicious systems, they fabricated history to look different and tell fallacious stories about who they are. It am shy and so ashame to learnt this. You are right. It is impossible to be an efficient MP and a Minister at the same time. The reason that they give for some Ministers having to be MPs does not make sense. Even MPs who are not Ministers are having a hard time to be present at parliamentary sessions. On the whole, I perfectly well agree with the Speaker. It seems people rush to become MPs for the public exposure, prestige and stipends without thinking about the difficulty of the job itself. The results of the last elections has proven that voters are now patiently waiting for non-performing MPs in the next elections.

If MPS are elected to represent their constituencies in parliament and they have been absenting themselves from parliamentary sittings , they must be expelled from parliament by their constituents . How will they bring the necessary changes to their areas if they don’t attend parliament . Those MPs who double up as ministers may have valid reasons to be absent from parliament but that in itself may be depriving the constituencies of the needed developments.

The ministers who were recorded absent are not being treated fairly. The constitution required the majority of ministers to come from parliament so if those ministers appointed from parliament are to work, then obviously they can't be in parliament all the time.

Unless we simply want them to be titular ministers and always attend parliament. We either amend the constitution and have complete separation of power or we just acknowledge the impact of having ministers appointed from parliament.
