This guy in this picture is attributing long hair to bad hygiene and safety what a fool....if they tell foreign kids to cut their hair their parents will all leave the country amd the world will know ow stupid and primitive gjeadrs are. So they alow the foreign kids to have long hair, braids, locs but all local kids must conform to the same jungle primitive ideas we the elders have. What kind of foolishness is this? Confused leaders. So you foolish leaders think you know better than leaders in g7 nations? What is hygienic and safe in Accra? Even the hospitals are killing fields. Today, I went to 2 catholic high-school in toronto. I also went to st michales and upper Canada college both private schools. The kids wore uniforms shirts, ties some of the kids have cease cuts clean shaven. Some of the white kids have long hair I saw many black kids with across, dreads, some have braids. Everyone minding their business..these are private schools where kids pay $10000to go to high school. I'm done..instead of dealing with more important issues plaguing the country you are wasting time on haircuts? What is the priority of these gh leaders? Have you seen haircut writing exams before? What's the correlation between braids or dreads in school and hygiene or safety? Smh foolish leadership allow the kids to be kids and expresses themselves as they fit they are not killing anyone they are doing their homework and chores leave them alone and focus of the cirrhosis public leaders, the dirty environments over there in the country trash everywhere...tweak korle bu enter thr hospital and the putrid stench alone will kill you drop dead focus on these....leave the kids alone and stop fucking the teenagers foolish people

Those religious groups should build their own schools for the children of their members. Jehovah witness dont vote but when roads are bad they join in complaining same as when lights go off, they shout about dumsor. Its got to be uniform nationwide in ghana , short hair no other choice. Will parents send their house helps to school in the morning to help their kids wash long brazilian, congolese hair extensions. Ghana paa.

I have a question. Does this rule of short haircut for girls apply to white kids when they school in Ghana?
Even half cast are allowed to keep their long hairs . Why can't we extend that to black girls?

Man let's us tread with caution. This is not US or UK. With your mentality, we keep on copying everything from the whites which lead to where we are today, a society full of indiscipline all because human right forgetting that right has limitations. Allowing different hair styles will create fertile ground for unnecessary competition among SHS students and additional financial burden on their parents. Later we will call upon the government to fund the hair styles of SHS students. Enough is enough.

If we life this policy then very soon the security services, teacher training colleges, and other professional colleges will also claim same rights.
The policy for my understanding is not to punish or disrespect but to differentiate students from tutors @ that level. We have gone through, we didn't die , so why all these noises

These days ministers just want to make rules so that they can say it was during my time that I introduced this.
Another example is the school uniforms that was made the same across the country. We felt proud in our individual uniforms in our time.
Parents and wards need to have a choice in these matters.
