Are the family members of Kutu Acheampong, Feli, Afrifa, General Akuffo and the many more who suffered horrible situations under Efo Julor Jeremiah Rawlings also required to book any appointments? Anyway, are they even prepared to condole with the family of Konadu? Have they forgotten what Julor Jeremiah Rawlings did to their own?

Commentary: Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings — A Legacy for Ghana to Reflect On
The passing of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings marks the close of an important chapter in Ghana’s national story. As a public figure whose influence spanned over four decades, she leaves behind a legacy defined by both remarkable accomplishments and a political era that continues to inspire debate.
Nana Konadu emerged as a champion for women at a time when their voices in governance and community leadership were too often sidelined. Through the 31st December Women’s Movement, she helped thousands of women gain opportunities in adult education, economic empowerment and civic participation. Her decision to contest the presidency in 2016 — the first woman in Ghana to do so — gave symbolic and practical meaning to her call for women’s leadership at the highest levels.
Yet, her life cannot be separated from the broader political environment she was part of. Her years as First Lady covered periods of both revolutionary transformation and democratic transition in Ghana. That history, marked by both progress and controversy, means her legacy will rightly continue to be discussed, examined, and understood from multiple perspectives.
As Ghana mourns her, it must also reflect. Reflect on how far we have come in ensuring that women can rise to the centre of national development — and how far we must still go. Reflect on the lessons of her era — about power, accountability, and the responsibilities of leadership. And reflect on how the gains made for women can be strengthened, protected and expanded for future generations.
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings will be remembered as a bold, driven, and determined figure who reshaped the space women could occupy in Ghana’s public life. May her passing not only inspire tribute — but also renewed commitment to the causes she championed and the national progress she sought.
May she rest in peace.

This is becoming disturbing as the kids are too young and immatured to handle the situation!
