Why are we so class oriented in Ghana? Is it part of the colonial legacy? Why these classification of schools across the country? Why not aspire to ensure that every school holds a high standard. Do we need to have SHS in every village? Why not identify some schools and equip them well to serve the surrounding communities since we don't have the financial resources to uplift every single village SHS to a category A school. Let's use our head and not only our heart in re-building the country.

Given the concentration of development of school infrastructure, you proposal means that schools in underdeveloped regions such as in the or Oti must attend nearby schools even if they have the grades to attend schools in Cape Coast and Accra. Until we equip schools across the country which is not going to happen soon, your proposal will exacerbate the unequal access and class relations. By the way, why restrict where people study when we are all Ghanaians?
